Lucy and Desi

“Lucy and Desi” is an excellent directorial debut from Amy Poehler. It's an uplifting celebration of Lucy, Desi, and their beautiful love story, even in the years following their divorce. If you grew up watching “I Love Lucy,” I highly recommend checking it out. I have also recently watched Aaron Sorkin's latest film, “Being The Ricardos,” which dramatizes their lives and careers together. I left that film feeling sad about the couple's relationship together because of the way that movie ends. “Lucy and Desi,” in contrast, is much more of a feel-good story, celebrating their love and collaborations.
