Superposition

A Swedish couple decides to unplug and spend a year off the grid in the Swedish forest. Hoping to escape the stresses of everyday life and repair some cracks in their relationship, they plan to document their yearlong experiment on a podcast. They pledge to be 100% open so that they can rediscover themselves. And finding themselves is exactly what happens. Described as a metaphysical thriller, “Superposition” reminded me of "Coherence" and, to a lesser extent, Jordan Peele's "Us." The tension gradually builds effectively as the couple settles into their forest home but somewhat fizzles at its conclusion.
