When the Screaming Starts

I typically love a good mockumentary. “When the Screaming Starts” follows a would-be serial killer (meaning he hasn’t actually murdered anyone yet) attempting to capture a true-crime documentary that is contemporaneous with the crimes themselves. The premise is quite amusing, but like most comedies, the level of humor will depend on how much it resonates with the viewer. Unfortunately, not much of it landed for me. I could see people having a good time with it. It’s well made and has fitting performances. It might be worth watching to see if the humor works for you.
